STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
Ranked in the top 10 percent of STEM schools nationwide in US Newsweek
Our STEM program uniquely provides opportunities for students to learn about real-world problems – from design and development, to housing and healthcare, to transportation and technology – all taught by instructors with real-world experience in engineering, design, architecture, business, and biomedical science.
In our STEM program, we let students choose and lead their own projects, allowing the students to learn how to conduct their own projects with guidance from our experienced instructors. After students finish their projects, PCA coordinates a STEM EXPO to introduce students’ ideas to local companies, providing students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and earn internships while still in high school.
Through its world-class curriculum provided by Project Lead The Way (PLTW), high-quality professional development and an engaged network of parents, partners, and advisors, PCA’s STEM program will offer students a chance to build their own competitive stories, a valuable asset when applying to colleges, in an extension of the Christian home.
