It Begins with Relationships… And Builds From There
In I Timothy 4:12, Paul counseled Timothy, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech in life, in faith and in purity.” In Providence, students build on and benefit from the groundwork laid in earlier years. It’s also the time when preparation for college and career takes priority. At Providence, we think they ought to enjoy that time. We want our students to have a great school experience. While it’s not our primary goal, we endeavor that our graduates look back fondly on their time at Providence.
At Providence, the strong sense of community built on healthy and vibrant relationship allows us to accomplish our educational mission. When teachers and students relate well to each other, a foundation exists on which rigorous expectation can exist. The rigor in our college preparatory curriculum produces students who succeed at the highest levels of higher education. We provide a comprehensive, Biblically informed education that prepares them for effective leadership and service in the 21st century.
Our eminently qualified and experienced teachers have the credentials to teach anywhere, but they choose to teach at Providence because of their commitment to the mission of helping young people understand the God-given potential present in each of our students. Through integrating the biblical worldview in everything they do, our teachers model for students that God is alive and relevant to all things – from language to art to science.
We do spiritual development with excellence. Our desire is that Providence students and alumni are grounded enough to understand what it means to live a life of service to the Lord while adding value to people. Through our uniquely designed Bible classes, Axis (weekly chapel service), Encounter (student retreat), and other times of spiritual emphasis, our students grow in relationship with Christ and gain Scriptural understanding with service, ministry, and outreach as the goal.
We invite you to join us at Providence.
